Personal safety and awareness

- Check the plate, car and driver, and let them say my name
- Set up trip sharing with a trusted friend and a check-in rule
- Make a first date plan: public place, own ride, friend informed
- Order and watch my own drink, and get help fast if I feel off
- Plan a lit route home with open places along the way
- Memorize two exit lines and a code word with a friend
- Keep distance, a low voice and an exit with an angry person
- Keep my room number private and find two fire exits
- Log harassment with dates and evidence before reporting
- Add emergency contacts and a medical ID to my phone
- Park lit, keys ready, check the back seat, lock at once
- Know the signs of coercive control and the hotline
